REFRESHING STYLE FOR A HOUSTON MANSION

Bright blue and green living room with sisal carpet and traditional style in a Houston mansion on Thou Swell @thouswellblog(via Architectural Digest)

In a stately Houston mansion, Bruce Budd was hired to update the interiors and breathe new life into the home. Budd did a beautiful job refreshing each room, using a classic Americana palette with an easy-going foundation of sisal rugs, baskets, and stripes. Budd contrasts traditional silhouettes of the settees and armchairs with modern tables, white walls, and the owners’ incredible contemporary art collection. The result is bright, balanced, and timeless. Take a look inside my favorite rooms below!
