Buckhead Guest Room Refresh With Serena & Lily

I started the bedding set with the Solana sheet set, which come in a beautiful light blue and have the prettiest fringed edges. I love the textural element they bring to the bed! I paired them with the classic Southport duvet cover and shams, with crisp navy embroidery. To top it off, I added the Foxwood quilt in Sand to tie in the warm neutrals in the room.

I’m a big fan of the euro pillow, and think it’s great for comfort when sitting up, and also, visually, a nice height at the top of the bed. I stacked four standard pillows with a pair of euros and placed the Blakely plaid lumbar pillow in front for a bit of fall coziness. Don’t be afraid to mix pure white and ivory – just make sure to tie the color in with the quilt or headboard.

Above the bed, I hung the Topeka mirror with it’s fun rattan frame. The shape of the mirror added a lot of interest to the wall, and brought in a warm tan that gave a bit more contrast than the white picture frames it replaced. It reflects light from the opposite window and makes a great focal point for the room!

In the bathroom, I pulled the light blue from the sheet set to inspire a set of soft Sonoma bath sheets and Napa towels. While the bath sheets have a simple borderless design for extra comfort, the hand towels and wash cloths have a classic border that makes them perfect for hanging beside the sink. Finally, the Spinsoft Guerneville bathmat brings the beautiful sky blue to the floor in the guest bathroom. I am in love with the quality and details of our new guest bed and bathroom decor and feel extra prepared to take on any houseguests this holiday season!
