Serena and Lily’s summer tent sale is back and the pickings are good! A lot of the sale is from their bed and bath linen collections, which I’ve long been a fan of (see this guest room update and the duvet cover in my apartment bedroom). There are some great discounts in this summer sale, including lots of cute pillow covers and a few pieces of lighting and furniture in the mix. I especially love their blue bocce ball set you’ll see below – how cute is that!

SWELL SHOPPING: A DUSTY PINK PARISIAN RETREAT IN CHICAGO
(via Architectural Digest, photography by Aimee Mazzenga)
Inspired by a Parisian salon, this high-rise condo in Chicago was wrapped in a sophisticated dusty pink wall color and filled with an eclectic assortment of contemporary furniture. The wall color is Farrow & Ball’s Peignoir, which I’ve color-matched to Behr’s Grey Ashlar paint color. It’s a chic, ashy backdrop for the pops of bright brass, pink, and celadon blue in this space. From the curved velvet sofa to the chunky white armchair, the emphasis in this sitting room is on striking silhouettes. See how I’ve pulled the look together below!

They’ve just released a limited-edition “Full Bloom” color collection with GOLD handles for the first time and I’m obsessed with these pretty pastel hues! These colorways won’t stay in stock long, so head over to Caraway’s site to check them out and save 10% off now!
**Update** Caraway no longer offers gold handles, however GreenPan offers a similar product with gold handles.

Spray paint is one of the best tricks you can use for repurposing old items or creating a cohesive collection from things that are mismatched. My last project with Plasti Dip Craft transformed vintage flatware and glasses into a matching blue picnic set with its convenient rubberized coating, and this time I’m creating an indoor herb garden with an assortment of pots. This application is a great example of how the rubber coating is helpful for things you don’t want to scratch or skid, and I’ll always love the fact that you can peel the coating off if you want to change up the design. See how easy it is to put together this cute countertop herb garden with some painters tape and Plasti Dip paint, which you can purchase on Amazon!

FRENCH-INSPIRED INTERIORS IN A MEDITERRANEAN BUCKHEAD ABODE
(via Atlanta Magazine, photography by Jeff Herr)
For a Mediterranean-style home in the middle of Buckhead (one that’s always caught my eye), architect Norman Askins and designer Susan Bozeman brought a French touch to the new interiors, adding to the European style of the stucco house. The 1930’s home features arched windows above French doors, black shutters, and romantic Juliet balconies on the exterior, and the high-contrast look was brought to the entryway with all-black walls and a tortoiseshell ceiling. From the nailhead-studded pantry doors in the kitchen above to the brass fittings in the classic owner’s bath, this house is full of luxurious details with classic nods to European style. Step inside the Atlanta home below.
