I’m so excited to finally share a first look at the design of my new apartment at Cornell. I am living off-campus for the first time, and couldn’t be more excited to have a blank slate to decorate! I’m also living with two of my close friends, so it’s been so much fun setting up our new home together. The apartment actually came with a sofa, armchair, and bar stools, but I asked them to remove all the furniture so we could really make it ours. Together we decided the theme for our apartment would be tropical, which is the perfect counterpoint to Ithaca’s cold, cloudy weather. I layered my favorite colors, blue and green, and brought in some really playful elements to transform our living area into an oasis.
