I love discovering new products that bring together decorating and technology, so the Plott Cubit immediately piqued my interest! Using lasers and augmented reality, it allows you to measure, plot, and plan your wall decor in ways you’ve never been able to before. I used the Cubit to get a new gallery wall set up at the bottom of the stairs in Dove Hill, and I was amazed at how I could visualize and set-up the gallery wall without ever pulling out a measuring tape! Check out how I did it below, and don’t miss my video on Instagram showing the whole process.
The Plott mobile app comes with a comprehensive video tutorial built in, which completely walks you through your first project. After the tutorial, I was ready to set up my gallery wall with four animal prints in a grid. Since all the prints are the same size, I added one to the app and simply duplicated it to create my grid. Using AR technology, the app is able to measure the size of the print for you and then you simply have to add there the hanger is on the back so it knows exactly where to guide to on the wall for the picture hanger placement. Here are some screenshots of the app in process:

To see more of the app in process, take a look at my video on Instagram. Once you set up the layout of your prints in the Plott app, it sends the picture hanger markers to the Cubit device, which guides you to each point. Once you make all your marks, you are all ready to hang up the gallery wall!
It was so exciting bringing this gallery wall to life with the new Cubit, and it will be fun finding more walls to reimagine with the device. Make sure to follow @LetsPlott on Instagram for more Cubit projects and design inspiration! Order the Cubit for your next gallery wall on Amazon here.
