I am excited to share the behind-the-scenes of my latest abstract painting. Inspired by my venture painting the large-scale canvas for the Dove Hill dining room, I decided to continue along the same theme and build a collection of paintings to eventually share on Kevin Francis Design. I am excited to share my process and how I build the layers of paint and color to create these whimsical compositions! With my triangle motif, a symbol of home for me, and the splashes of bright red that I add I have a few “signatures” I will be building upon in this series.
