For the past couple of months, I’ve been working on a really fun client project here in Atlanta for a cute couple decorating their first home. We’ve been infusing their new-build house with style, personality, and a little color here and there. One of the places they knew they wanted to go in a bolder direction was in the powder bathroom – one of my favorite places to get playful with the design. I partnered with House of Rohl to bring the most beautiful brushed gold Riobel Parabola faucet and Victoria + Albert Kaldera sink to inspire this special space! See where the bathroom is starting and my design board for the design below.

[ezcol_1half]Powder bathroom before[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]This powder bathroom will be where guests use the restroom, so I want to give it lots of special details to discover. I love the navy vanity, so I used that color as a starting point for the design, and imagined warming up the space with a fun wallpaper and gold fixtures. The mirror, sconce, and window offer more opportunities to add personality, and I’m planning on tying the blue back into the design with a patterned roman shade. Bathrooms are also often an underutilized place for artwork, so I want to find a mix of pieces to complement the wallpaper pattern and add some focal points for the tall walls. I love a small vintage rug in powder rooms since they don’t need a real bath mat, but can sometimes benefit from a pop of color on the floor![/ezcol_1half_end]

Powder bathroom design board with gold Riobel Parabola faucet, coral wallpaper, Victoria+Albert sink, and blue and white roman shade on Thou Swell #powderroom #powderbathroom #powderbath #bathroom #bathroomdesign #bathroomdecor #bathroomideas #renovation The House of Rohl fixtures provide a great foundation for this space, especially because bathroom fixtures are so defining in a powder room. The sleek Parabola faucet by Riobel has such a unique shape, and I love the handles on the widespread design. It comes in three other finishes, but the brushed gold will feel like jewelry in here! The Kaldera sink by Victoria + Albert is made from Volcanic limestone and has a really classic design. The rectangular shape provides a contemporary update to the curved one before. I can’t wait to share an update once these beautiful fixtures are installed!
