What better way to put a pep in your step than some bright rugs gracing your floors? Though it was 64 degrees outside today, the winter still doesn’t have that same springtime energy that you can only find in the bright colors of new leaves and blooming flowers. So instead of waiting for spring, bring these colors inside (and lift your mood). Looking at the patio in the picture above just gave me such a thrilling sensation of cool shadows and a carefree feeling from the rugs strewn all over the place. This rug is full of pizazz, and brings a lot of warmth and texture to a simple white room. It balances the minimalist feel of the couch and walls with pattern and color and fits perfectly into the room, with a little help from the coordinating throw pillows!

Not only do I love the shop of this apartment’s owners, but I also am loving their bold rug below their dining table! Though it’s just duo-toned it still feel energetic and brings a lot of life into the room! It just seems to go perfectly with the brightly colored prints on the wall and the white dining chairs.

Contrary to the previous rug, this one has lots of color and brings a lot of warmth to this kitchen and living space. Those colors remind me of summer sunshine and fruit. You could really get through the cold winter with this pop of color beneath your feet!
