Sarah Ruffin Costello is a design-industry maven whose New Orleans home tour is one of my all-time favorites, and her latest design project is another example of the playful genius she brings to the history-steeped interiors of grand homes in the Big Easy. This home belongs to the fashionable CeCe Colhoun, and the Costello definitely brought a high-fashion edge to the home’s gracious rooms. Beyond the expert mix of old and new in these spaces, I love the layers of personality and patina, from books to textiles. Step inside this Georgian-style home below.
The gracious entryway features a classic Saarinen marble-top table and pretty etched-style landscape wallpaper from Anthropologie.
Now this is a glamour shot! I love the drapery leading into this sitting room with a beautiful Cassina chaise lounge bringing a modern edge to the space.
The backyard is classic and lush – the New Orleans dream!
