As summer rolls around, there’s a sweet time where it’s not too cold at night and not too hot in the evening sun that’s perfect for setting an alfresco dinner party. Eating dinner with the vibrancy of the newly-green trees and buzz of summer insects is a magical way to enjoy the warm weather. For a simple, summer-inspired table, I used a bright white and blue palette, and cut branches from a snowball viburnum down the street to fill the center of the table. With the mid-century pattern on the vases and the beautiful hand-painted look of the collector’s edition plates, the table took on an easy-going look that was simple to set with white dinnerware and capiz shell napkin rings all around.
