Remember my organizing plan I created with Walmart for Grace’s bedroom? I have the results of all those bins, baskets, and organizers – and the difference is astounding! I’m no Marie Kondo, but inspired by Walmart’s New Years resolutions I managed to bring some order to the big closet and her bookshelf with a few simple additions. Along the way, I added a few finishing touches to Grace’s bedroom design to get a clean, classic design that she wanted. Continue reading to see how different it all looks in here!

Using the same bins along the top of the closet helps lighten the shelf visually and keeps a more cohesive look (plus they’re super affordable). The shoe rack was essential in packing in all Grace’s shoes into one corner, and simplifying her Polaroid collection helped declutter the left side of the closet.
Grace’s bookshelf just needed baskets to corral her knick-knacks, and some desk organizers to get her pens and papers in order. I found stylish lucite options and opted for white wicker baskets to really lighten things up.
On her dresser, there was makeup and jewelry galore. I found a jewelry stand for her earrings and one for her bracelets and necklaces, and lucite organizers to hold her makeup. It all helps to keep to top free and give everything a place to stand up and be more visible.
To polish off the clean and organized look, I hung up Grace’s gallery wall, a swing-arm sconce, and added some classic bedding to bring a tailored look to the space. I definitely couldn’t have completed the decor without the room being neat and tidy, and I was so happy with the low prices and free two-day shipping I found on Walmart’s website.
