Over my recent spring break I got to capture some of the beautiful light fixtures installed in Dove Hill last month! The dining room, entryway, and hallways now feature some gorgeous new lights replacing the drab fixtures that hadn’t been updated since the 80’s. I love lighting because it’s like jewelry in a room – adding just a hint of sculpture to a space. I’m so glad I waited to find the perfect fixtures for this project. See all of the pieces below!
(Fiona table lamp)
I partnered with Hudson Valley Lighting and Mitzi to update the dining room lighting with sleeker fixtures that really gave the room some modern energy. With large antiques in the space like the heirloom buffet, I wanted to keep the lighting light and linear, and the long vertical arms of the Gideon chandelier paired perfectly with the stems of the Fiona lamps.
This piece makes such a fun statement in the entryway – and it’s currently on major sale!
Just like I found a comment element between the lights in the dining room, I tried to source relating lights for the hallways. Both lights feature a white glass globe shade, with this modern cage for the upstairs hallway landing area above.
I love the fun updates these modern light fixtures bring to the house.
