After we sold Dove Hill my mom purchased a townhouse with an exciting, completely different design direction in the Upper Westside of Atlanta. With some industrial elements in the open, modern architecture, it’s a really fun new space to contrast my mom’s mix of traditional and contemporary furniture. When we first toured the space, I immediately fell in love with the double-story living room with an enormous window that floods the front of the house with light. Above the living room is a great loft space that will be our media room area, and the metal floating staircase in the middle of the living area makes a great design statement. It’s going to be such a fun space to work in and I already have so many ideas (think: Soho House meets Southern style)… See all the “before” pictures below!

There are still a lot of builder-grade details in the house and nothing has been changed since it was built in the early 2000s besides the flooring and paint, so it’s a blank canvas for some major upgrades when it comes to the kitchen and bathrooms and all those blank walls! I can’t wait to fill it with color, art, fabulous light fixtures, and lots of personality.
