I love every detail of this subtle Spanish apartment by Maria Santos, but I wanted to break down the cream living room design for my latest swell shopping feature and highlight the light touch in this space. The color palette rests easy in cool, pale neutrals, with floating side tables in lieu of a coffee table, pale woods, and linen slipcovers on the pair of slope-arm sofas featuring simple striped throw pillows. The bookcases are beautifully styled with books and objects but gives everything space to breathe. I love the disco balls on the top shelf – I made sure to include one in the design board below!
