This past spring we picked out all the furniture for my mom’s loft media room in the Westside Townhouse from At Home, but the space didn’t really come together until I sought out the right accessories from the store this fall to give it a cohesive color palette perfect for transitioning the room into the cooler months ahead. To complement the beige sectional (armless sofa + chaise) and blue barrel chairs, I worked in shades of green with warm gold and neutral textures to warm the space up. I usually don’t do much decorating for Halloween, but I couldn’t resist adding in some fun seasonal pieces from At Home’s huge selection – the prices were too good to resist! I was able to deck the space out with a fresh new look without breaking the bank thanks to At Home’s fall decor event and I’m excited to share all the details below.
This side table with wicker caning was an instant favorite and I love how it provides storage for our DVD collection with the addition of a basket below. I added in a skeleton on the top shelf for some Halloween fun!
My mom’s secretary desk is a perfect fit for this little nook, and I layered on a few new accessories to tie it into the rest of the room design. This gold leaf mirror provides the perfect old-world warmth to the space and the bright green globe adds a touch of whimsy.
The pillow selection at At Home can be overwhelming, but I for one find it so fun to get in there and throw together different combinations! I fell in love with this embroidered green velvet number so I found large, neutral striped pillows to layer perfectly against the armless sofa and chaise. The lanterns in each corner add a subtle seasonal touch and are another item that At Home excels in!
Right now you can shop in-store OR online with order pickup from At Home so it’s safe and easy to give your own home a seasonal refresh with their fall decor event! Now if you need me I’ll be lighting a candle, curling up with a blanket, and watching my favorite movies in this room…
